AUSTIN, Texas — Arkansas continued action with the sprint crew in Austin for the Texas Relays, while the distance squad got to work at the Stanford Invitational on Friday.

The day began with Arkansas’ 4×100 meter relay crew advancing to tomorrow’s finals.

Coming into the weekend the relay team ranked third early on in the outdoor season and will look to improve on a time of 43:40 that it recorded in the Arkansas Spring Invitational last weekend.

Entering the weekend, freshman Janeek Brown was fifth in the nation in the 100 meter hurdles, clocking a time of 13:10.

She advanced to tomorrow’s finals and will face field that includes three Southeastern Conference foes from LSU that are in the top-20 nationally.

A week removed from tying the school record in the 100 meter dash, Baylark placed fourth in Friday afternoon’s  preliminary.
