Arkansas softball fans now know what next spring will look like.
The Razorbacks have released their 2027 SEC schedule and it’s packed with big games.
The Hogs will play 24 conference games next season. Four of those series will happen at home in Bogle Park.
Arkansas will host Ole Miss March 19-21. The Razorbacks will also welcome defending national champion Texas April 2-4.
Texas A&M comes to town April 16-18 and Tennessee closes out the home slate April 30-May 2.
Before any of that happens the Hogs have to hit the road first. Arkansas opens SEC play at South Carolina March 12-14.
A week later Ole Miss travels to Fayetteville for the first conference game at Bogle Park all season.
Right after that series ends the Razorbacks head to Auburn for the first time since 2024. That series runs March 26-28.
Home slate features marquee opponents
April brings a huge moment for Arkansas fans. Texas steps onto the Bogle Park turf for the first time since the 2022 Super Regionals.
It will also mark the Longhorns’ first SEC trip to Fayetteville ever.
After that series wraps up the Hogs travel to Baton Rouge for a three-game set at LSU April 9-11.
Arkansas then returns home to face Texas A&M April 16-18. It’s the first time the Aggies have played at Bogle Park since 2023.
The Razorbacks close out their road trips with a series at Kentucky April 23-25. Then Arkansas wraps up SEC play at home against Tennessee from April 30 through May 2.
Arkansas gets its bye week during the final weekend of the regular season, which falls on May 6-8.
SEC tournament heads to a new home
For the first time since 2003 the SEC softball tournament won’t be played at a campus site.
All 15 SEC teams will instead travel to Madison, Alabama, for the 2027 tournament, set for May 11-15.
The games will be played at Toyota Field.
That stadium is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, a Double-A team that plays in the Southern League and is affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels.
The full schedule could still shift a bit. Some series may move to end on Mondays instead of Sundays to fit television plans. Game times,
TV assignments and Arkansas’s non-conference schedule will all be announced later.
This new schedule comes on the heels of a special year for the Hogs. Arkansas finished the 2026 season 47-13, which included the program’s first-ever trip to the Women’s College World Series.
Those 47 wins were the second-most in school history and the Razorbacks also set a program record with 26 run-rule victories.
At home the Hogs went 29-3 inside Bogle Park last season. That’s the second-most wins and second-best winning percentage there since the stadium opened back in 2009.
Only the 2022 team, which won 31 games, and the 2018 squad, which posted a .931 winning percentage during a 27-2 run, finished ahead of them.
