Don’t expect a lot of shaking up when the new Arkansas Sports Media Poll for Arkansas high school football comes out later in the week.

Quite simply, a lot of the top teams didn’t play, scheduling games for the Zero Week last week, giving them an off week the following week.

Following is how the teams in the fared for the week ending Sept. 1:

OVERALL

  1. North Little Rock (1-0) did not play
  2. Bryant (1-0) did not play
  3. Fayetteville (2-0) defeated Owasso, Okla., 45-31
  4. Bentonville (0-2) lost to No. 10 Conway, 24-21
  5. Greenwood (0-1) lost to No. 6 FS Northside, 31-16
  6. FS Northside (2-0) defeated No. 5 Greenwood, 31-16
  7. Pine Bluff (0-1) lost to Cabot, 35-14
  8. Bentonville West (0-2) lost to FS Southside, 44-31
  9. Pulaski Academy (1-0) did not play
  10. Conway (2-0) defeated No. 4 Bentonville, 24-21
