UA’s Board of Trustees votes to rename court at Bud Walton Arena for Nolan
In a move some feel is long overdue, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees voted to rename the basketball court at Bud Walton Arena as Nolan Richardson Court.
In a move some feel is long overdue, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees on Thursday morning voted unanimously to rename the basketball court at Bud Walton Arena as Nolan Richardson Court.

The move to rename the floor had started over the last several months with a state legislator introducing a bill to do it.
After honoring the 1994 National Championship team Richardson coached at a game in February, the board announced it would consider the matter in March.
