Trevon Brazile is putting together one of the more entertaining stretches of NBA Summer League action so far this month.
The former Razorback big man landed with the Denver Nuggets after they took him with the 35th overall pick in the second round.
Since then he’s shown flashes of the game that made him a fan favorite in Fayetteville.
According to HawgBeat’s Daniel Fair, Brazile opened Summer League with a quiet scoring night but a loud rebounding one.
He managed just five points in his debut but grabbed 11 total boards, including five on the offensive glass. He also knocked down a three-pointer in that game.
Brazile then sat out the next game before returning with his best performance of the week against Oklahoma City.
He poured in 32 points, with 19 of those coming before halftime and connected on six three-pointers in the game, one of which came from near half court right at the first-half buzzer.
Brazile keeps up the pace against Portland
Brazile didn’t slow down much when Denver faced Portland on Thursday night.
He didn’t match his OKC scoring total but stayed active on both ends of the floor.
Midway through the first quarter he blocked a dunk attempt that turned into points on the other end for Denver.
The defensive stop set up a transition three from former Alabama guard Mark Sears.
Brazile also delivered a highlight-reel dunk in the game, something that became a regular sight during his time with the Hogs.
He finished the night with 19 points and eight rebounds while adding three assists, two steals and three blocks.
Through three Summer League games, Brazile is averaging 18.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per outing.
He’s one of three Arkansas players competing in Las Vegas this summer after all three of the program’s 2026 draft picks landed roster spots. His former teammate Meleek Thomas currently leads all Summer League scorers at 28.3 points per game.
Arkansas fans have plenty to track this offseason between the NBA action and the program’s ongoing basketball buildup.
Brazile’s stretch of games gives Razorback supporters another reason to keep watching as Summer League continues.
