SEC moves suspension back roughly 45 days to end of May

There will be no spring workouts for Arkansas football or anybody else, for that matter, with the announcement the SEC has moved the suspension back to May 31.

The original date was April 15.

This includes all in-person athletics activities, including team and individual practices, meetings and other organized gatherings (voluntary or required). Camps and coaches clinics.

The league did increase the amount of time available for virtual film review that does not include physical activity is permissible.

Starting Monday, activity of this nature will be expanded to four hours per week, an increase from the previously permissible maximum of two hours per week.

The UA will continue to provide their student-athletes with care and support to meet needs in areas including academics, medical care, mental health and wellness, nutrition and housing as needed.
