If you weren’t listening to Richard Davenport’s Recruiting Thursday show Thursday night on ESPN Arkansas, you missed a big-time commitment.
Joe T. Robinson defensive end Zach Williams made his commitment to Arkansas official.
“I think over all these schools I visited, I weighed my pros and cons…I felt like Arkansas was the best option for me even though some were very close,” Williams said on the show. “I felt like there was nothing better than home I guess since I was raised around Arkansas.”

His father, Rickey, was an All-Southwest Conference linebacker for the Razorbacks in 1987.
Zach is 6-4, 225, with a 4.57 40-yard time, had over 26 other scholarship offers from schools like Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Oregon, Florida, TCU, Oregon State and Louisville. ESPN rates him a 4-star prospect.
