Arkansas picked up its sixth offensive line pledge of the 2027 cycle on Saturday when Judah Gumbs announced he’s heading to Fayetteville.
The Seffner, Fla., tackle made his decision public with a post on social media, giving Ryan Silverfield and his staff their 20th commitment in the class.

Gumbs stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 290 pounds. The Armwood High School product picked the Hogs over finalists Syracuse, Mississippi State and Tulane. He also held offers from Houston, Kansas, Wake Forest, Memphis, South Florida and Liberty among others.
Arkansas offensive line coach Jeff Myers led the recruitment and got Gumbs on campus for an official visit to Northwest Arkansas the weekend of June 5.
Myers extended the offer on May 22, just two weeks after Mississippi State got involved.
Gumbs didn’t make his choice without checking out the competition first. He took official visits to Syracuse on May 29, Mississippi State on June 12 and Tulane on June 18 before landing on the Razorbacks. His commitment came in around noon central time.
247Sports rates Gumbs as an 86 three-star prospect. He ranks as the 90th-best offensive tackle in the nation and the 119th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida for the 2027 class.
Razorbacks keep building momentum this week
Gumbs marks the fourth commitment Arkansas has landed just this week.
Four-star offensive lineman Alijah Shaw of Overland Park, Kansas joined the class along with three-star cornerback Kevin Grant out of Arlington, Texas and three-star defensive back John Catlin IV from Denton, Texas.
The offensive side of the ball now carries ten total commits for the Hogs.
That group includes quarterback Cason Myers out of Auburn, Alabama, running back Jeremiah Dent of Marion, Arkansas, and wide receivers Jabari Watkins and Darion Moseley.
Tight end Parker Keenan rounds out the skill position pledges.
Up front, Arkansas now has six offensive linemen committed. Joining Gumbs and Shaw on the interior are Odaefe Oruru of Jenks, Oklahoma, Bradley Sturdivant of Sheridan, Arkansas, Henry Frazier of Rogers, Arkansas, and tackle Teagan Parizek of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Defense and specialists round out the class
On defense, the Razorbacks have added interior linemen Eli Thornton and James Stewart along with edge rusher Keith Richmond and linebacker Will Caston. Cornerbacks Grant and Catlin give the secondary depth, joined by safety Jameer Cantrell of Buford, Georgia.
Arkansas rounded out its special teams needs with kicker Rocco DePrima of Columbia, Missouri and punter Declan Hamm of Lewisville, Texas.
With the dead period approaching, the coaching staff will look to keep this commitment streak going.
More additions could be on the way for the Hogs before the calendar turns.
