FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — While Arkansas coach Sam Pittman is recovering nicely from hip surgery Tuesday, he landed a solid class of high school players along with one junior college player.

The Razorbacks’ early signing class had 23 athletes with 11 offensive players, nine on defense, two specialists (a kicker and a punter) plus one athlete.

Maybe the biggest surprise was the flip of quarterback Madden Iamaleava from Long Beach, Calif., who had previously been committed to UCLA. He is the brother of Tenessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava and HawgSports had a story with his father Wednesday on the decision.

• 10 different states are represented in the Razorbacks’ 2025 early signing class: Texas (6), Arkansas (4), California (3),
Alabama (2), Georgia (2), Mississippi (2), Indiana (1), Louisiana (1), Oklahoma (1), Tennessee (1).

• 18 of the 23 signees are scheduled to enroll early and participate in spring practices.
