FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — When the schedule was announced and the LSU game moved from somewhere near the end of the schedule to September, you had the idea unless both teams lost their first two games, you had the feeling it was going to be a night game in Baton Rouge.

That’s what happened. Arkansas’ little trip to No. 14 LSU on Sept. 23 will be at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

Razorbacks’ coach Sam Pittman said in his press conference Monday he would have preferred it to be at 11 a.m. LSU leads the all-time series, 43-23-2. The Hogs are seeking back-to-back wins in Baton Rouge after claiming a 16-13 OT win against the Tigers in 2021.

The Hogs are 2-0 with a big win over Western Carolina in the opener and overcame a lot of technical problems in a 28-6 win over Kent State that wasn’t near what the fans or anybody else expected.
