Quincy McAdoo injured in car wreck, hospitalized

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Without much information to go on, apparently Arkansas defensive back Quincey McAdoo had some kind of car wreck Monday. Details are rather thin right now with Razorback Football posting official word Tuesday via social media.

The key phrase there, obviously is that it is “non-life-threatening” and in stable condition. The fact he’s obviously had to do more than a quick check by the ambulance folks or at the emergency room indicates it very possibly was more than just a fender-bender.

He’s played all over the place since coming from Clarendon, starting on offense at running back and wide receiver before filling a big hole at cornerback for the Razorbacks in the defensive secondary at the end of last year, primarily as a cornerback.

He was second on the Hogs’ defense last year with two interceptions, 30 tackles and a sack and is expected to continue to be a key contributor on defense this coming season. He didn’t have any offensive stats with limited plays on that side of the ball.
