Arkansas returns to Bud Walton Arena to host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday (Jan. 9). Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

Georgia won the meeting last year in Athens, Ga., 99-89. In that game, three current NBA players — Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe from Arkansas and overall first pick Anthony Edwards of Georgia — each scored 26 points in the shootout.
• While Georgia won the last meeting, Arkansas was won 7-of-the-last-10.
• Arkansas dropped five spots to 29th in the NCAA NET after losing, 79-74, at Tennessee (No. 4 NET) on Wednesday.
• Georgia leads the SEC in assists per game and offensive rebounds per game while ranking second in defensive rebounds per game, steals per game and rebound margin. Sahvir Wheeler ranks sixth in the NCAA in assists. Wheeler (3) and Toumani Camara (4) have combined for seven double-doubles.
• Arkansas leads the SEC in free throws made and attempted, ranking 16th and 26th in the NCAA in each, respectively. The Razorbacks lead the SEC in scoring and defensive rebounds while ranking second in assists.

Musselman indicates Georgia game still on as SEC juggles games
With games across the SEC being shuffled after positive covid-19 testing, tracing and quarantines, Arkansas’ game with Georgia is apparently good to go.
At least that’s the indication from Eric Musselman on Friday afternoon when he gave a double thumbs-up when asked at the end of his press conference about the test results the team got earlier Friday.
LSU at Missouri was cancelled earlier Friday after issues at Missouri after problems at South Carolina forced the postponement of their game with Ole Miss.
As a result, the Rebels and LSU will now play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday after the Hogs’ game with the Bulldogs.
