Aggies’ covid situation forces postponement of Saturday’s game

For the second time this season, Arkansas’ game with Texas A&M has been postponed, according to an announcement from the SEC on Friday afternoon.

An additional positive covid-19 test within the A&M program, forcing the second postponement of a game with the Razorbacks following the Feb. 6 contest in Fayetteville postponement.

All A&M basketball activities will remain paused until further notice, which likely means the game at Kentucky scheduled for Tuesday night will also be either postponed or canceled, according to TexAgs.com.

The Aggies (8-7, 2-6) have not played since defeating Kansas State, 68-61, in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Jan. 30.

Since then, six games have been postponed due to COVID-19 or inclement weather.

The Hogs (17-5, 9-4 in the SEC) only had a game with

A&M has also had games against Vanderbilt, Georgia, Florida and Alabama postponed.

The Razorbacks have only had a non-conference game against Tulsa cancelled.
