Could Dan Enos getting another 4-star KJ work out as well as last?

Razorbacks pick up four-star quarterback out of Alabama, but no idea if he can be as good as current one.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — New Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos has secured his first big quarterback commitment.

And it’s another four-star from another state named KJ.

Maybe he saw the last one worked out pretty well with current top quarterback KJ Jefferson.

This time it’s a four-star signal-caller out of Montgomery, Ala., named KJ Jackson that looks similar, but it will be ineresting to compare the early development of this one under Enos.

It took awhile before Jefferson caught up. Of course, the coaching staff when he was a freshman probably left a lot to be desired at the SEC level, considering they were shown the door before he finished that freshman year.

He made the announcement at 5:30 on Easter afternoon.

“When picking a college I really wanted somewhere that felt like home,” Jackson told 247Sports. “Coach Pitt and coach (Dan) Enos both made it the priority to make me feel at home. Also, being able to play under a coach like Coach Enos with 13 quarterbacks in the NFL is an opportunity that is hard to pass up.”

Jackson is the No. 391 player in the country on the 247Sports.com composite ranking, the 24th best quarterback in country and 23rd in Alabama.

He’ll join some other quarterbacks already on campus with Jacolby Criswell having 2-3 years left with the Hogs and Malachi Singleton an incoming freshman already on campus.

There will probably be more and the numbers show you won’t make it through a season in the SEC for 12 games plus a bowl game without injuries. There are exceptions to that premise, but they are few and far apart.
