The name on the side of Arkansas’ football stadium is changing for the first time in more than two decades.
This time it comes with a financial package that could reshape how the program funds its future.
Arkansas Athletics announced Wednesday a long-term partnership with CommunityAmerica Credit Union that will rename Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium as CommunityAmerica Razorback Stadium beginning with the 2027 football season.
The deal marks the first stadium naming rights partnership in Arkansas Athletics history and the second time the venue has carried a naming rights arrangement since it opened in 1938.
The stadium first took on a sponsor’s name in 2001, when the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation secured naming rights following a $21 million donation that funded a major expansion.
That deal ran out in 2024, though the foundation’s signage remained above the stadium entrance while Arkansas Athletics worked to find a replacement partner.

Yurachek enlisted Learfield to find naming rights partner
That search began in September of last year, when Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek enlisted the help of Learfield to solicit bids for the naming rights.
Yurachek has previously said the stadium’s naming rights could generate between $4 and $5 million in annual revenue for the Razorbacks. The formal partnership announcement came Wednesday afternoon, with an official event held at the stadium at noon.
The deal was facilitated by Learfield and its locally based unit Razorback Sports Properties, which holds the exclusive multimedia rights for Arkansas Athletics and manages all sponsorship agreements on the program’s behalf.
“We are thrilled to welcome CommunityAmerica Credit Union as the Official Credit Union of Arkansas Athletics as one piece of a partnership that will benefit our student-athletes, fans and the state of Arkansas for years to come,” Yurachek said. “Our vision in the Department of Athletics is to be our best and CommunityAmerica’s commitment to excellence as a trusted, people-driven financial institution mirrors that same vision. This partnership is just getting started but its impact will help shape our future.”
CommunityAmerica deal extends well beyond stadium name
The arrangement covers considerably more ground than a sign above the tunnel.
The multi-phased partnership designates CommunityAmerica as the Official Credit Union of Arkansas Athletics and as an official sponsor of the broader department. The premium seating area inside the stadium will also carry the credit union’s identity.
The SEC Club will be rebranded as the CommunityAmerica Club, where fans access elevated gameday amenities on home Saturdays.
The second phase activates with the 2027 season, when the stadium officially takes its new name and a suite of co-branded financial products launches alongside it.
CommunityAmerica Razorback Checking, Debit and Credit Cards will become available to fans, extending the partnership into the everyday financial lives of Hogs supporters throughout the state.
The agreement also puts CommunityAmerica in direct contact with student-athletes through Name, Image and Likeness opportunities and financial education programming — a component of the deal designed to build a foundation for players beyond their playing days.
Credit union brings deep Arkansas roots and national financial footprint
CommunityAmerica brings substantial institutional credentials to the partnership. The credit union is headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas, and carries nearly $10 billion in assets while serving more than 600,000 members.
It ranks among the nation’s 50 largest credit unions and holds the top spot in Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri. Founded in 1940, the institution has maintained a presence in Arkansas since 1968, nearly half a century of history in the state that the credit union’s leadership leaned on in explaining the deal’s appeal.
CEO Lisa Ginter framed it as a community investment rather than a marketing transaction.
“This is so much more than a name on a stadium,” Ginter said. “It’s about becoming part of the Razorback Nation experience and helping fans, students, student-athletes and the communities we and the university serve. Our members are at the heart of everything we do and when we evaluate partnerships like this, it starts with what matters most to them.
“The University of Arkansas is a powerful source of pride and connection for people across the state and in many of our markets. This partnership underscores our long-term commitment to Northwest Arkansas, where we look forward to growing our presence and helping more families achieve financial peace of mind. We’re already deepening our roots with plans for a campus location and several new branches throughout the region.”
Co-branded Razorback banking products set to launch in 2027
When the co-branded banking products come online in 2027, Ginter sees them as a direct expression of that shared identity.
“Our members are proud of where they live and what they stand behind and for so many in Arkansas and across our shared communities, that means being part of Razorback Nation,” she said. “As we look ahead to launching Razorback-branded products in 2027, we’re excited to offer experiences that celebrate that pride, strengthen relationships and deliver meaningful value for the people and communities we serve.”
The naming rights deal doesn’t stand alone. Earlier this year, the Hogs also secured an expanded partnership with Tyson Foods.
It signals Yurachek has been working to build a broader commercial portfolio for the department as NIL expenses, transfer portal competition and facility investment continue to put pressure on athletic budgets across the country.
Arkansas building revenue portfolio amid rising athletics costs
Learfield Senior Vice President of Business Development Allison Fillmore called the pairing a natural fit.
“This is a historic partnership featuring an innovative brand with a passion and proven track record of supporting their community, paired with one of the leading college athletics programs in the country,” Fillmore said. “Learfield and Razorback Sports Properties are excited to collaborate with Arkansas Athletics, which will enhance fan and student-athlete experiences for years to come.”
CommunityAmerica is federally chartered and operates branch locations across Arkansas, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Tennessee and Texas.
Its footprint in Northwest Arkansas is poised to grow further through the planned campus branch and additional regional locations tied to the partnership.
For the Razorbacks, the math is straightforward. A naming rights deal that generates up to $5 million per year, paired with NIL pathways for student-athletes and a premium club rebrand, represents a meaningful step forward in how Arkansas competes off the field.
The name on the stadium will change in 2027. The revenue implications start building now.
