Arkansas baseball fans just got a first look at what’s coming next spring, and it’s packed.
Dave Van Horn’s club will play 56 regular-season games in 2027, and that includes 10 Southeastern Conference series and trips to three professional ballparks.
This will be Van Horn’s 25th year running the Razorbacks program.
Arkansas hasn’t just been good lately. It’s been the winningest team in the country since 2017, racking up 424 total victories in that stretch.
The Hogs closed out 2026 with a 41-22 record and went 17-13 in SEC games, which was enough to lock up a ninth straight season with 40 or more wins.
That kind of streak doesn’t happen by accident. Van Horn’s teams have hit 40 wins every single full season since 2017, starting with 45 that year and climbing as high as 50 wins twice, in 2021 and again in 2025.
Arkansas is the only SEC program that can say that, and it’s one of just two teams nationwide with that kind of run.
The Razorbacks will kick things off at home, hosting Butler for a three-game set from Feb. 19-21 at Baum-Walker Stadium.
A quick midweek game against South Dakota State follows on Feb. 23 before the team hits the road for a trip that’s become something of a tradition.
Arkansas heads to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series from Feb. 26-28.
It’s the sixth time in seven years the Hogs have made that trip, and they’ve built up a strong 12-4 record at the home of the Texas Rangers. Iowa, Oregon and Oregon State will all be waiting for them there.
The Hogs won’t leave Texas just yet. They’ll play a fourth game at Globe Life Field against Tarleton State on March 1 before heading back to Fayetteville for a long nine-game homestand.
Santa Clara, Oral Roberts, Sacred Heart and Eastern Illinois all come through Baum-Walker Stadium during that stretch.
Once conference play starts, Arkansas opens on the road against Ole Miss from March 19-21, one of three teams on this year’s schedule that made it to last year’s College World Series.

Beyond that Ole Miss series, the non-conference part of the schedule brings Arkansas State, UCA, Little Rock, Missouri State and Grambling to Fayetteville for midweek games.
The Hogs also travel to two pro stadiums for one-off matchups, facing Missouri State at Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo., on March 23, then squaring off with Memphis at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock on April 20.
Arkansas’s home SEC slate is stacked, with series against Alabama, LSU, Missouri, Auburn and Kentucky all coming to Baum-Walker Stadium.
On the road, the Hogs will battle Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Mississippi State.
In all, Arkansas will see 14 teams this year that made the 2026 NCAA Tournament field, plus three College World Series teams in Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas.
The season wraps with the SEC Tournament, set for May 25-30 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.
That’s the 29th straight year the event has landed there and the 31st time overall. A nation-best 12 SEC teams punched their tickets to last year’s NCAA Tournament, showing just how tough this league has gotten.
