The Arkansas Razorbacks kept hearing their name called well into Sunday evening as the final rounds of the 2026 MLB Draft brought a steady run of picks.
It got so hectic late in the afternoon we decided to put the final few picks into a story of all the late picks.
Four more players from the Hogs’ roster came off the board, pushing Arkansas deep into double digits for total selections this year.
Right-hander Colin Fisher went to the San Francisco Giants in the 13th round with the No. 388 overall pick.
Fisher’s junior season had plenty of ups and downs. He went 4-7 with a 5.59 ERA and struck out 58 batters in 56.1 innings across 18 appearances.
His best moment came against Xavier when he threw a complete-game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks, a start that earned him SEC Pitcher of the Week honors.
Not long after, the Los Angeles Angels grabbed right-hander Tate McGuire in the 14th round with the No. 409 pick.
The Liberty, Mo., native made 21 appearances this season, including eight starts, and finished 1-1 with a 4.78 ERA and 41 strikeouts over 49 innings.
Mets add a third Razorback arm
Cooper Dossett became the third player from this year’s Arkansas team to land with the New York Mets when they took him in the 17th round at pick No. 510.
Dossett joins fellow Razorbacks Carson Wiggins and Kuhio Aloy in the Mets organization.
Dossett pitched in 16 games this season with an 18-13 strikeout-to-earned-run gap, finishing with a 6.88 ERA across 17 innings.
The Cleveland Guardians closed out the Hogs’ Sunday haul when they selected left-hander Parker Coil in the 20th and final round with the 603rd overall pick.
Coil, a southpaw from Oklahoma, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers a year ago but chose to return to school instead.
That decision paid off this season, as he posted a 3.99 ERA with 58 strikeouts across 47.1 innings in 27 appearances.
Fisher, McGuire, Dossett and Coil give the Razorbacks a full staff of arms scattered across four different big league organizations.
