Arkansas fans, you might want to eat breakfast a little early on Nov. 7.
The Southeastern Conference said Monday that the Arkansas at Auburn game time is 11:45 a.m. that Saturday.
SEC Network has the broadcast, so anybody who isn’t making the trip can catch it from the couch.
That’s a lunchtime kickoff for a road game. If you had anything planned that morning, it might be time to move it.
It’ll be the second straight Saturday the Razorbacks show up on SEC Network, with both games set for the same channel.
You can also listen to the games on ESPN Arkansas 93.7 and 99.5 in Fayetteville, 95.3 in Fort Smith and the River Valley, 96.3 in Hot Springs and 104.3 in Harrison-Mountain Home.
The first one comes with a costume party attached.
No. 23 Missouri visits Razorback Stadium on Saturday and that’s a ranked opponent coming to town. Kickoff for the Battle Line Rivalry game is 6:45 p.m.
It’s also the final night of Arkansas’ 105th annual Homecoming Week, so the place should have plenty going on. It’s also on Halloween, which doesn’t happen around here very often.
Arkansas hasn’t played a home game in Fayetteville on Halloween in more than a decade. Somebody’s going to show up in a costume. Probably a lot of somebodies.
When that one’s in the books, the Hogs get exactly one week before they’re due at Auburn.
The game at Auburn will be the 36th meeting between the two programs. Auburn leads the all-time series 21-13-1, and there’s a tie mixed in there too.
That’s eight more wins for the Tigers, and Arkansas isn’t going to wipe that out in one afternoon.
Auburn also took last year’s game, 33-24. That one was in Fayetteville, which made a nine-point loss a little harder for the home crowd to swallow.
Their most recent trip to Auburn went a lot better. That trip came Sept. 21, 2024.
The Razorbacks left with a 24-14 win.
A 10-point road win in the SEC isn’t something anybody’s going to turn down. It was also the last time Arkansas walked out of that stadium with a win.
So the Hogs head back knowing they’ve won there recently.
Auburn, meanwhile, will remember what happened in Fayetteville a year ago. Nov. 7 settles which result carries more weight.
Put together, the next two weekends start with Missouri at 6:45 p.m. Saturday in Fayetteville, then Auburn at 11:45 a.m. on Nov. 7 on the road.
Both games are on SEC Network. Just don’t flip on the Auburn game expecting a night kickoff.
