Arkansas basketball TV schedule puts Hogs in eight different places

Information from Arkansas Communications is included in this story.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Finding Arkansas on TV this winter is going to take some channel surfing.

The Razorbacks locked in start times and channels Wednesday for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season.

Count them up and the Hogs will show up in eight different places.

That’s ABC, CBS, Peacock, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and SEC Network+.

Some of those are one-time stops.

Peacock gets a single game, a 6:30 p.m. tip against Indiana on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Madison Square Garden in the Bad Boy Mowers Series.

CBS has one too, with Michigan State on Thursday, Nov. 26 in Detroit at 3:30 p.m.

ABC is back for first time since 1995

Then there’s ABC.

Florida plays at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m., and that network has the broadcast.

Arkansas has been on ABC only four times before.

The last was at Auburn on Jan. 14, 1995.

The rest were all Texas games, including the one in Dallas on March 10, 1991, that won the Southwest Conference Tournament.

So it’s been 32 years, give or take a few weeks.

ESPN has three non-conference games away from Fayetteville.

Virginia is Sunday, Nov. 8 at noon in Washington, North Carolina is Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in Chapel Hill and Arizona is Dec. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Phoenix.

Streaming carries early home games

If you don’t have SEC Network+, now’s a good time to figure that out.

Ten games are on the streaming service, starting with two exhibitions in Fayetteville.

Gonzaga comes first on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m., a matchup of Naismith Hall of Fame coaches in Mark Few and John Calipari.

Memphis is next on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.

Season tickets don’t cover either one, so those seats are a separate purchase.

The games that count begin Nov. 3 against UAPB, the first of five home dates with a 7 p.m. start on SEC Network+.

Robert Morris (Nov. 11), Central Arkansas (Nov. 13), Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 20) and UT Rio Grande Valley (Dec. 29) are the others.

December mixes up clock

UT Arlington on Sunday, Dec. 13 moves up to 4 p.m.

Central Michigan on Dec. 22 goes at 6 p.m.

Each is a streaming game too.

Oakland is the only home non-conference game the Hogs get on SEC Network, an 8 p.m. tip Dec. 8.

Dec. 5 is the yearly game in North Little Rock, where Oral Roberts is the opponent at 3 p.m. at Simmons Bank Arena on SEC Network+.

Then the calendar flips and league play takes over.

Missouri is first on Jan. 2 at Bud Walton Arena, a 3 p.m. start on ESPN or ESPN2.

Tuesdays at 8 become habit

Arkansas plays its midweek SEC games on Tuesdays with one exception.

That’s a Wednesday trip to South Carolina on Jan. 6, an 8 p.m. tip on SEC Network.

At home, Georgia (Jan. 19), LSU (Jan. 26), Ole Miss (Feb. 9) and Auburn (Feb. 16) are all Tuesday games at 8 p.m.

Saturdays at Bud Walton aren’t nearly as predictable.

Alabama is a 1 p.m. game on ESPN2 Jan. 9, Mississippi State tips at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network Jan. 30 and Oklahoma starts at 11 a.m. March 6 on ESPN or ESPNU.

Two road times aren’t final, with Vanderbilt on Feb. 6 at 7 or 7:30 p.m. and Kentucky on Feb. 20 at 5 or 5:30 p.m.

After all that, the Razorbacks head to Nashville to defend their SEC Tournament championship March 10-14 at Bridgestone Arena.

All times are Central.
