Alyssa Orange named host of ESPN Arkansas’ ‘Halftime’

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — ESPN Arkansas is proud to announce the addition of veteran sports broadcaster and award-winning media personality Alyssa Orange as the new co-host of Halftime, the network’s popular weekday sports talk show airing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. alongside former Arkansas Razorback Matt Jones.

With more than 15 years of experience in sports journalism, television broadcasting, digital media, and content production, Orange brings a dynamic combination of storytelling expertise, on-air presence, and deep relationships throughout the sports community.

She joins Halftime following an accomplished career covering some of the biggest moments in college athletics, professional sports, and local communities.

Orange currently serves as host of Varsity Vibe, where she conducts in-depth interviews with coaches and athletes from across Arkansas. Prior to that role, she spent nearly 12 years with Pig Trail Nation and Nexstar Media Group, providing extensive coverage of the Arkansas Razorbacks and major sporting events, including bowl games, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, and the Men’s College World Series.

In addition to her work with Pig Trail Nation, Orange contributed to numerous national assignments, including coverage surrounding the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, Winter Olympics previews for Milan-Cortina, Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LII, and The Taste of the NFL television special.

“I’m excited to join the team at ESPN Arkansas and be part of Halftime with Matt Jones,” Orange said. “After years of appearing as a guest alongside Matt and Phil, it’s an honor to step into this role full-time. I look forward to connecting with Razorback fans and sports fans across Arkansas in a new and exciting way.”

As part of the show’s transition, Colton Little will move from his current role as producer of The Morning Rush to become producer and co-host of Halftime alongside Orange and Jones.
