Pflugerville safety commit talks about Razorbacks
Pflugerville, Texas, Henderson High School three-star safety and Arkansas commitment Myles Brooks recently recapped his commitment to Arkansas.
Pflugerville, Texas, Henderson High School three-star safety and Arkansas commitment Myles Brooks recently recapped his commitment to Arkansas.
“Coach Chad Morris and the staff kept recruiting me when they were at SMU,” Brooks said. “When they went to Arkansas they keep recruiting me. That meant a lot to me. When I went to the campus in Fayetteville it was beautiful and it was a dream come true. Its in the SEC the biggest stage in football and this is the place I want to be at.”
Brooks was asked who his lead recruiters were?
“Coach Morris and coach (Mark) Smith,” Brooks said.
Brooks elaborated on what position he will play at Arkansas.
“I’m versatile and can play safety, cornerback, or any other position they need me to play,” Brooks said.
Brooks said he will not be an enroll early.
Brooks commented on what he likes most about Arkansas defensive coordinator John Chavis.
“I like the scheme they run,” Brooks said.
Brooks elaborated on his skills sets.
“I think I am the most physical corner in the country and you will sometimes feel me after the whistle,” Brooks said.
Brooks is excited about the Arkansas recruiting class coming in.
“Its great we got a great group coming in,” Brooks said.
Brooks said he will official visit soon.
“It will be soon,” Brooks said. “I don’t have a date set yet.”
Brooks recapped the unofficial visit to Arkansas.
“It was amazing,” Brooks said. “I have always wanted to play against Alabama because I feel like they are over rated.”
