Hill says Pittman ‘closest to Arkansas guy we could get at that time’ of hiring

Former Hogs’ running back Madre Hill tells Tye Richardson and Tommy Craft (The Morning Rush) on ESPN Arkansas that he doesn’t consider Sam Pittman an ‘Arkansas guy,’ but is a good fit.

Hill didn’t feel former assistant Barry Lunney, Jr., (who was his quarterback playing in the 1990’s) wasn’t quite ready and Pittman was the closest thing to being a Razorback that was available.
