Mesquite, Texas, West Mesquite 2020 three-star all-purpose back Ty Jordan recaps his offer from Arkansas, he said in a recent conversation about the offer.

“My family is from Arkansas, so that’s why this offer is an exciting one.” Jordan said.

Here’s more from Jordan talking about the offer:

Jordan is unsure at this time on his top teams.

“I really don’t have any top schools at the moment because it’s football season and I’m solely focused on that.” Jordan said.

Jordan commented on his relationship with the Arkansas coaching staff.

“I have been following the staff for a while,” Jordan said. “I have been establishing relationships with them since they were at SMU. Coach (GJ) Kinne is cool along with coach (Julian) Griffin and coach (Justin) Stepp.  He came a couple of times during the spring and I love the vibes.”

Jordan spoke on his skill sets as a football player.

“Strength is that I’m just not a ‘fast’ football player,” Jordan said. “But a smart one … not going to be a one-trick pony.”

Jordan elaborated on when he would commit to his school of choice.

“No commitment date as of now,” Jordan said. “But sometime my senior year for sure.”

Jordan is going to visit Arkansas and he’s trying to get there soon.

“Hope to get to a game in the next few weeks.” Jordan said.

Jordan currently has 12 offers from Arkansas in addition to SMU, Texas, and Wisconsin.
