Jefferson, Texas, three-star Arkansas commitment wide receiver TQ Jackson recapped his recruitment this week and also talked about the Razorbacks’ past game against North Texas.
“Recruitment is and always was good from coach (Chad) Morris and them,” Jackson said. “They always showed loved and they kept it real. As far as the game I wasn’t phased by it. “If I was gonna commit for records I would’ve tried to get into Bama.”
Jackson spoke on his senior season and how it is going.
“My senior year is good,” Jackson said. “Alright, I can’t complain. We’re winning and our starting quarterback is hurt, so it’s harder to get me the ball.”
Jackson spoke highly on the other Arkansas commits.
“As far as other commits, I like all of them,” Jackson said. “We got almost every position. We will come in and contribute right away.”
Jackson talked about his strengths as a football player.
“My strengths are my ball skills,” Jackson said. “I have got good speed for my height and stronger than most defensive backs.”
Jackson was asked about his relationship with the Arkansas coaching staff.
“Coach (Justin) Stepp is a great guy,” Jackson said. “I can’t wait till he develops me to my full potential.”
Jackson said he will not enroll early at Arkansas and what he is bringing to Arkansas.
“Arkansas is getting a small town kid, hard-working, and humble young man.” Jackson said.
Jackson has big goals once he gets to Arkansas.
“My goals will be to contribute right away as a freshman.” Jackson said.
Jackson loves the newly-renovated Razorback Stadium.
“The new stadium is nice,” Jackson said. “It wasn’t finished when I went to prospect day.”
Jackson is unsure at this time when he will officially visit Arkansas.
Jackson chose Arkansas over schools like Texas Tech, SMU, and Arizona.
