Houston North Shore running back talks about Hogs’ offer

Houston, Texas, North Shore 2020 running back recaps his recent offer to Arkansas.
“Arkansas is a great school very blessed and honored that they see my ability to play the game.” Gentry said.
Gentry was asked who are his top teams at the moment?
“I haven’t really put thought into it yet.” Gentry said.
Gentry talked about his relationship with the Arkansas coaching staff.
“I love the coaching staff coach (Jeff) Traylor, coach (Julian) Griffin, and head coach (Chad) Morris stay in touch they are very involved,” Gentry said.
Gentry went into depth on his skill sets.
“I feel that my strengths are that I’m pretty fast I feel like,” Gentry said. “I am explosive running back and I love contact and I’m very coach able. “Off the field I try to stay diligent in the class room as much as possible and I love to help the community.”
Gentry talked about what makes Arkansas different from the rest of the schools recruiting him.
“Well, Arkansas was my first offer and they keep in touch with and always make sure I’m okay,” Gentry said.
Gentry will try and visit Arkansas soon.
“I’m going to try to make it to the LSU game,” Gentry said. “But if not I’ll be there postseason for sure.”
Gentry loves how Arkansas is recruiting him.
“Arkansas as a whole is a great school and they play at the highest level of football which is SEC,” Gentry said.
Gentry has very high praise for Morris.
“I love what coach Morris is doing,” Gentry said. “He’s gonna be one of the best coaches in college football.”
Gentry said he will commit to his school of choice sometime in 2020.
